As answered by people managing DiffEngineX and MatchDock.
MatchDock's answer:
MatchDock focuses on making spreadsheet reconciliation simple and explainable. It compares Excel and CSV files using single or composite keys, supports normalization and numeric and date tolerances, and clearly separates matches, differences, unmatched records, duplicates, and invalid records. It also explains why each result was produced, while spreadsheet contents are processed locally in the browser.
MatchDock's answer:
MatchDock is designed for people who need to reconcile two spreadsheet exports without building formulas, lookup sheets, or complex reconciliation processes. It combines configurable matching rules, tolerance handling, detailed result explanations, Excel export, and reusable workflows in a focused browser-based tool.
MatchDock's answer:
MatchDock is for finance, accounting, payroll, operations, and data professionals who regularly compare Excel or CSV exports. It is especially useful for recurring reconciliation tasks where records need to be matched by one or more keys and differences or exceptions reviewed.
MatchDock's answer:
I built MatchDock after repeatedly seeing how much time people spend comparing spreadsheet exports manually. In my work with SAP, BI, and data, I kept coming across the same pattern: export two files, build formulas or lookups, find the differences, and then do it all again the next time. I wanted a simpler, reusable way to handle that job, so I built MatchDock.
