This page is designed to help you find out whether MatchDock is good and if it is the right choice for you.
MatchDock helps you compare and reconcile two Excel or CSV files without building formulas, lookup sheets, or manual side-by-side checks. Upload both files, choose the column or columns that identify matching records, and MatchDock separates the results into matches, differences, records found only on one side, duplicates, and invalid records. It supports composite keys, normalization, absolute numeric tolerances, and date tolerances, making it useful for recurring reconciliation tasks such as comparing spreadsheet exports, payroll data, accounting records, or SAP exports. Results include detailed explanations of why records matched or differed and can be exported to Excel. Reusable workflows let you save the reconciliation configuration for future runs. Spreadsheet contents are processed locally in your browser.

MatchDock focuses on making spreadsheet reconciliation simple and explainable. It compares Excel and CSV files using single or composite keys, supports normalization and numeric and date tolerances, and clearly separates matches, differences, unmatched records, duplicates, and invalid records. It also explains why each result was produced, while spreadsheet contents are processed locally in the browser.
MatchDock is designed for people who need to reconcile two spreadsheet exports without building formulas, lookup sheets, or complex reconciliation processes. It combines configurable matching rules, tolerance handling, detailed result explanations, Excel export, and reusable workflows in a focused browser-based tool.
MatchDock is for finance, accounting, payroll, operations, and data professionals who regularly compare Excel or CSV exports. It is especially useful for recurring reconciliation tasks where records need to be matched by one or more keys and differences or exceptions reviewed.
I built MatchDock after repeatedly seeing how much time people spend comparing spreadsheet exports manually. In my work with SAP, BI, and data, I kept coming across the same pattern: export two files, build formulas or lookups, find the differences, and then do it all again the next time. I wanted a simpler, reusable way to handle that job, so I built MatchDock.
