• Site users using a plugin to search through a database I maintain?

  Another good alternative that I've used extensively in the past and am actively using on a few sites, is TablePress, it also uses the Datatables library, it's just not as crazy full featured as WPDatatables. But it's also free so... yeah. Source: over 5 years ago
