I tried to use descript.com but found out that they didn't have a download for Linux and that their online version doesn't allow you to edit your transcript. Source: almost 4 years ago
If you are learning things, you could also create github gists. That way your repos will only be coding related, while you can create tutorials / work exercises in gists. Source: almost 4 years ago
