Deformity is one of the first AI-driven form platforms, turning bland surveys into adaptable conversations you can start using for free. It's a true Typeform alternative. Sign up and you're dropped straight into your first formโ€”the homepage promise of โ€œforms that talk backโ€ becomes real without setup friction.

Build in two modesโ€”let AI generate dynamic flows or handcraft every promptโ€”then tune purpose, points, snippets, and personalities so conversations stay on-brand and fluent in 120+ languages.

Conditional logic stays human-readable: describe branches or redirects in plain English, reuse earlier answers inside URLs, or fall back to manual rules and Deformity wires the flow for you. Instant Responses keep conversations snappy, while packaged playbooks for lead gen, qualification, feedback, quizzes, giveaways, and research show the range you can automate.

Distribution is effortlessโ€”copy a link, post to social, or embed inline, full-page, as a popover, or as a banner with just a snippet, complete with hidden values or prefilled answers for tracking. You can open and close submission windows, cap participation, or redirect respondents after completion while keeping behind-the-scenes parameters tidy.

Brand control runs deep, from designer tools to fully custom domains that keep visitors on your URL. Out of the box you can plug into Zapierโ€™s 7,000+ apps, Google Sheets, custom webhooks, and Discord, then monitor conversation metrics, flow funnels, CSV exports, and instant email notifications without extra tools. Even the free tier covers unlimited conversations, every question type, payments, branching, sharing, customization, and integrations, which helps explain why 3,400+ customers already trust Deformity to power their forms.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Deformity and Google Forms.

What makes your product unique?

Deformity's answer

Deformity presents itself as โ€œforms that talk back,โ€ pairing fast conversational experiences like Instant Responses with AI-assisted features such as automatic support for 120+ languages, natural-language branching, and flexible embedding that stays on brandโ€”distinctions that go beyond traditional static builders.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Deformity's answer

Its Typeform-alternatives guide positions Deformity as the top pick because AI-first, adaptive conversations boost completion, multilingual support arrives instantly, teams can ship forms quickly without sacrificing design control, performance stays high on mobile and embeds, and pricing remains transparent; the comparison table even flags AI-assisted building and automatic multilingual capability as advantages over Typeform itself.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Deformity's answer

Marketing content calls out teams that need higher completion rates, serve multi-language audiences, ship forms fast, and demand strong brand controlโ€”specifically creators, marketers, service teams, SaaS teams, photographers, and researchers running use cases from lead capture and qualification to feedback, quizzes, giveaways, and research studies.

What's the story behind your product?

Deformity's answer

The โ€œOur Storyโ€ page traces the productโ€™s inspiration to Hamana Kaliliโ€™s shaka waveโ€”an emblem of embracing quirksโ€”after frustration with rigid forms, leading to a mission where every logic jump and drag-and-drop reflects that flexible, human-centered spirit.

  1. Very convenient software!

Helps my company solve many issues. We collect information from clients and employees. We conduct surveys and collect data. Very useful software. Helps form a common opinion, conduct analysis and analytics.

  2. โœ“ Adrian | Mobile Forms - Digital Inspections - Enterprise Checklists - Data collection
ยท Marketing at Mobile Forms ยท
A good beginners tool to start your digital transformation.

One of our customers said: Our small mining operation needed to go from paper based process to digital forms. At first, Google forms allowed us to use this Web-based platform that lets individuals and businesses of all sizes build customizable forms to conduct surveys and generate real-time response charts.

We saw that a small sample of our field workers quickly adopted the new way of working.

    Step 1: accomplished.

    Now unto step 2.

How do we deploy this unto our whole team? We needed email notifications, offline response collection when without wifi on the field. Our CIO and his director of operations needed deep data and trends analysis as well. Our inspectors, when doing their audits, needed to capture approx. 25 high definition pictures, some audio notes and a video which wasn't really possible with google forms.

So, we can 100% credit the use of google forms to our transition towards a paperless process, but as we navigated saashub.com a little more, we were able to discover a world of alternatives. We strongly suggest to start using google forms before undergoing a big implementation plan towards such enterprise level inspection tools like nspek or even cheaper solutions like prontoforms.

I am not sure if we would start with google's solution first if we would to do this digital transformation all over, but it did allow us to discover it's limits pretty quickly.

At some point, we needed custom fields and functions, and none of us was able to code, so the nSpek training that comes with the application definitely sets it's self apart, giving us full autonomy.

    ๐Ÿ Competitors: nSpek, ProntoForms
๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    No sign up cost
    ๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons:    Customization|Customer support|Data protection and security|No video|No pictures
