Deepgrip started as Deeplens โ€” an internal search tool the founding team built for their own video archive, frustrated by how much footage was effectively lost behind weak filenames and slow scrubbing. It grew into a full intelligence layer once speech-entity extraction and frame-accurate clipping became viable, and was renamed Deepgrip in 2026 as a B2B platform for any team with a video library.
