Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Deepfakes web and Week.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Deepfakes web's answer

Creators and hobbyists who want a full face swap video from a single photo without installing software: meme and short-video makers, marketers testing concepts, and people trying deepfake technology for entertainment or education. Most usage is mobile, which is why there is a $1-per-video iOS/Android app.

What makes your product unique?

Deepfakes web's answer

Deepfakes Web has been an online face swap video generator since 2018. Upload one clear face photo and one MP4 (up to 200 MB, up to 4K) and the cloud GPUs swap the face frame by frame — nothing to install, no high-end PC. Pricing is per video with no subscription: $10 on the web, $1 in the iOS/Android app. Every video carries an invisible watermark.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Deepfakes web's answer

No subscription and no credit system: you pay per video ($10 web, $1 app) and keep the 4K MP4 in your private account. It runs fully in the browser on cloud GPUs, accepts files up to 200 MB, and has been operating continuously since 2018 with an invisible watermark on every output for responsible use.

What's the story behind your product?

Deepfakes web's answer

Deepfakes Web launched in 2018 as one of the first browser-based deepfake makers, at a time when face swapping required a gaming PC and hours of setup. The goal was to make the same result available in minutes from a phone or laptop, priced per video rather than by subscription, and to ship every video with an invisible watermark.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Deepfakes web's answer

A web app that runs the face swap pipeline on cloud GPUs: face extraction, frame-by-frame swapping and re-rendering up to 4K, plus an invisible digital watermark applied to every output. Native iOS and Android apps use the same backend.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Deepfakes web's answer

Deepfakes Web is a self-serve consumer product used by individual creators worldwide rather than enterprise accounts, so we do not publish customer names.

I decided to spend a bit of money to try to make a good deepfake, couldn't believe how easy it was to make a such a realistic deepfake. It's scary how good they are.
