Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing DASH and VaultNow.

What makes your product unique?

VaultNow's answer:

Most tools give you one piece โ€” a wallet, an invoicing app, or a payout tool โ€” and you stitch the rest together with spreadsheets. VaultNow runs the whole money path in one system: invoicing, payouts, treasury, budgets and P&L, all reconciled together, with AML screening and approval controls built into the same workflow. It's non-custodial, so your keys and funds stay yours. One system instead of five tools and a month-end scramble.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

VaultNow's answer:

Most crypto finance tools force a trade-off. Heavy accounting platforms like Bitwave or Cryptio are built for enterprise audit and complex DeFi โ€” powerful, but overkill and pricey if you just move stablecoins. Invoicing tools like Request Finance handle billing, but you still bolt on separate tools for payouts, treasury and controls.

VaultNow sits in between: one system that runs the whole stablecoin money path โ€” invoicing, payouts, treasury, budgets and P&L โ€” reconciled together, with AML screening and approvals built in. It's non-custodial, so your keys and funds stay yours. Focused on the rails you actually use (USDT & USDC on Ethereum and Tron), not on tracking every DeFi protocol you don't.

If you run real operations on stablecoins and want them clean, controlled and in one place โ€” without an enterprise price tag or a five-tool stack โ€” that's the gap VaultNow fills.

What's the story behind your product?

VaultNow's answer:

VaultNow came out of a problem its founders kept seeing up close. Working with businesses that operate in crypto, they noticed the same gap everywhere: teams were running crypto operations by hand โ€” juggling exchange platforms, personal wallets and hardware wallets, with founders and execs burning hours processing dozens of transactions and then trying to reconcile it all in spreadsheets.

The market clearly needed a corporate-grade solution for crypto payments โ€” a "banking-like" experience with real accounting, analytics and control that could scale as the business grew.

There was a second problem too: trust and privacy. Many teams keep funds in their own wallets but don't want the whole chain to see how much they hold, who they pay, or where money comes from. Blockchain transparency cuts both ways โ€” competitors, or even people inside the team, can read salaries and payment flows.

So VaultNow was built to solve both at once: corporate-level financial control, security and clarity for crypto payments โ€” without giving up flexibility or privacy โ€” with anti-fraud tools that trace transaction chains and flag issues like kickbacks, payments to non-existent employees, or hidden markups.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

VaultNow's answer:

Any business whose turnover runs through stablecoins. If you invoice clients, pay contractors, vendors or partners, or manage treasury in USDT and USDC, VaultNow is built for you โ€” whatever your size or industry.

That spans agencies, payment platforms, trading and Web3 companies, and international teams paying people around the world. What they share is simple: crypto is part of how money actually flows through the business, and they want it clean, controlled and reconciled in one place โ€” invoicing, payouts, treasury and budgets, all in one system.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

VaultNow's answer:

  • Performance & media agencies โ€” running client ad spend and paying partners in crypto
  • B2B SaaS companies โ€” billing and getting paid in stablecoins
  • Creator platforms โ€” paying talent and creators across borders
  • Home offices & family offices โ€” managing crypto treasury and payments privately
  • Indie startups โ€” lean teams that need clean crypto finance from day one

  • Ryan Taylor's influence on financial privacy in Dash
During Ryan's tenure at Dash, he has managed to rid the official website https://dash.org/ of any mention of the word privacy or PrivateSend, our brand. Not content with that, he took it a step further and single handedly made the decision to de-brand PrivateSend from the wallets, the codebase and the Dash documentation. This was a decision not consulted with the network, merely relayed to 'us' as important and... Source: over 4 years ago
