Campfire gives running AI coding agents a persistent, two-way SMS channel.

Start a long-running task on your computer, walk away, and let the agent text you with progress, questions, errors, or completion notices. Reply by ordinary SMS to answer questions, change instructions, request status, or steer the existing session without opening an app or remote desktop.

Campfire is designed as a lightweight communication layer rather than another AI agent. It uses the intelligence, tools, integrations, context, and model access already available in your existing agent environment.

This makes it useful for workflows that outlive a normal interactive session: model training, builds, local inference, batch jobs, monitoring, research, deployments, and agent-created polling loops.

Campfire gives existing AI coding agents a persistent two-way SMS channel. Instead of building another chatbot or remote-control app, it lets the agent and tools you already use reach you over ordinary text messaging — including when mobile data is unavailable. Cursor's tab completion is pretty wild. It'll suggest multiple lines of code, and it's looking at your whole project to make those suggestions. For TypeScript and Python files - when Tab suggests an unimported symbol, Cursor will auto-import it to your current file. Plus, it even tries to guess where you're going to edit next.
