Cregis was founded on a simple observation: As more enterprises began adopting digital assets, the core challenge was not accessing blockchain technology itself, but operating these assets safely, efficiently, and at scale over time. From secure asset storage and permission management to fund transfers, approval workflows, and day-to-day operations, enterprises required a full-stack infrastructure capable of supporting real business activity. At the time, however, these capabilities were often fragmented. Many companies had to stitch together multiple systems on their own, resulting in higher development costs, heavier operational burdens, and ongoing security and governance risks. Cregis entered the market with a clear focus: enabling enterprises to securely manage digital assets. As customers grew, their needs evolved. Simply managing assets was no longer enough. Businesses needed faster fund movement, more automated operational workflows, stronger compliance capabilities, and the ability to coordinate across regions and organizational structures. As a result, Cregis gradually expanded from wallet infrastructure into a broader digital asset infrastructure platform, covering wallet infrastructure, fund flow orchestration, and regulated custody capabilities. This evolution was not driven by a pre-defined product roadmap. Many of the core capabilities originated from real operational challenges raised by customers. As similar problems emerged repeatedly, the team turned those solutions into products and continuously refined them through iteration. Today, Cregis serves more than 4,000 institutional clients across over 50 countries and regions. What has remained unchanged is its core focus: helping enterprises use digital assets with greater control, lower operational friction, and higher certainty.
