After building InvertMate for tarantula and scorpion keepers, the developer realized hermit crabs and isopods need a completely different approach. They're colony animals, not individual pets. So he built CrabPod with colony-specific features like population tracking, environment health monitoring, and group care reminders.

It includes colony population tracking, environment monitoring (temperature and humidity), molt logging, shell change tracking, and care reminders. No other app addresses the unique needs of colony-based invertebrate keeping.
