SOCIALFUEL is AI ad intelligence that decodes the strategy behind any brand's ads โ€” not just a wall of screenshots.

Paste any brand and SOCIALFUEL pulls their live advertising across Meta, Instagram, and Google (plus TikTok, in beta) into a single view, then uses AI to explain why each ad works โ€” the hook, the angle, the offer, the audience, and the funnel stage. Instead of guessing what to run next, you build from decoded, proven intelligence.

It's a free, AI-powered alternative to swipe-file tools like Foreplay and ad-spy databases like AdSpy โ€” with the one thing they leave out: the strategy.

What you can do

  • Search any brand and see every live ad they're running, across platforms, in seconds.
  • Decode each creative with an AI breakdown of its hook, angle, offer, audience, and positioning.
  • Sort by what's proven โ€” ads rank by how long they've been running, the market's own proof of what converts.
  • Search by keyword or topic to surface the winning ads across an entire category, not just one advertiser.
  • Watch competitors and get alerted to every new ad they launch, with a weekly digest.
  • Save ads and export a strategy brief โ€” turn research into a plain-English playbook your team can run.

Who it's for

Founders, media buyers, agencies, DTC and ecommerce operators, and in-house marketing teams who would rather know what works than guess.

Why it's different

Most competitor-ad tools stop at the swipe file โ€” screenshots with no explanation. SOCIALFUEL adds the layer that matters: the strategy behind them. It replaces hours of strategist work per campaign with a decoded playbook in about 90 seconds.

Nobody wins by accident. Every winning ad leaves evidence โ€” SOCIALFUEL reads it.

CommitCat features and specs

  • Simplified Git Interface
CommitCat aims to provide a user-friendly graphical interface for Git, making version control more accessible to developers who may find the command line intimidating or cumbersome.
  • Free and Open Source
CommitCat is offered as a free tool, lowering the barrier to entry for individuals and small teams who need a Git client without the cost associated with some commercial alternatives.
  • Cross-Platform Support
CommitCat is designed to work across multiple operating systems, allowing developers on different platforms to use the same familiar tool for their version control needs.
  • Beginner-Friendly
The tool is positioned to help newcomers to Git and version control by providing a more visual and intuitive way to manage repositories, commits, and branches without needing deep command-line expertise.
  • Lightweight Application
CommitCat is designed to be a lightweight Git client that doesn't consume excessive system resources, making it suitable for developers who prefer a lean, fast tool over feature-heavy alternatives.

Possible disadvantages of CommitCat

  • Limited Feature Set
Compared to more established Git clients like GitKraken, Sourcetree, or Fork, CommitCat may lack advanced features such as built-in merge conflict resolution tools, advanced branch visualization, or deep integration with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Small Community and Ecosystem
As a lesser-known tool, CommitCat has a smaller user community, which means fewer tutorials, community-driven plugins, and peer support compared to mainstream Git clients.
  • Limited Visibility and Traction
CommitCat appears to have limited online presence and user reviews, making it difficult for potential users to assess its reliability, maturity, and long-term viability before adopting it.
  • Uncertain Development Activity
It is unclear how actively CommitCat is being maintained and developed. A tool with infrequent updates may fall behind in compatibility with newer Git features or operating system updates.
  • Lack of Enterprise Features
CommitCat may not offer enterprise-grade features such as team collaboration tools, access control integrations, or support for large-scale repository management that organizations often require.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing CommitCat and SOCIALFUEL.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

SOCIALFUEL's answer:

Toesox Australia Christian Youth Camps Caterpy Laces Australia Organic Performance Leus Towels Australia

What makes your product unique?

SOCIALFUEL's answer:

Most competitor-ad tools stop at a swipe file โ€” a wall of other brands' screenshots. SOCIALFUEL goes further: it uses AI to decode the strategy behind the ads. Paste any brand and it pulls their live ads across Meta, Instagram, Google and TikTok (beta), then explains why each one works โ€” the hook, angle, offer and audience โ€” and ranks them by how long they've been running, the market's own proof of what converts. The result is a plain-English strategy brief you can export as a PDF in about 90 seconds. It's the difference between seeing ads and understanding them.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SOCIALFUEL's answer:

Swipe-file tools and raw ad-spy databases hand you the creatives and leave the thinking to you. SOCIALFUEL does the thinking: an AI decode of each ad's strategy, a cross-platform view across Meta, Google and TikTok in a single search, and an exportable, client-ready strategy brief โ€” not just a folder of screenshots. It's free to start with no credit card, and it turns hours of manual strategist work into a 90-second playbook. If you want to know why the winning ads win, and exactly what to build next, that's the gap SOCIALFUEL fills.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SOCIALFUEL's answer:

SOCIALFUEL is for marketers who'd rather know what works than guess: startup founders and DTC/ecommerce operators researching their market, media buyers and performance marketers who need winning angles fast, agencies running ads across multiple clients, and in-house marketing and creative teams briefing better campaigns. If you spend on Meta, Google or TikTok ads โ€” and want your competitors' playbook before you spend โ€” you're the core user.

What's the story behind your product?

SOCIALFUEL's answer:

SOCIALFUEL was built by an advertising agency, out of its own frustration. Running paid campaigns for clients, the team kept hitting the same wall: the winning ads were public โ€” anyone could see them โ€” but understanding why they won still meant hours of manual research per campaign, and too often it came down to guessing. So they built the tool they wished existed: paste a competitor and AI decodes the strategy behind their ads instantly. It worked so well on their own accounts that they opened it up as a product. The belief behind it is simple โ€” nobody wins by accident. Every winning ad leaves evidence, and SOCIALFUEL reads it.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SOCIALFUEL's answer:

React & TypeScript (frontend) Node.js (backend) Google Gemini โ€” the AI engine behind the ad decoding and briefs Supabase (database & authentication) Stripe (payments)

    Most unique and outstanding platform

This platform has saved me SO MUCH time from having multiple tabs open and having to find out whatโ€™s the best winning ads. This tells you everything you need to know. I use it for my agency and I can find out my competitors ads easily. Highly recommend SocialFuel.

๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    Simple user interface and easy to use.|Saves a ton of time|Helpful customer support
    ๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons:    Nothing, so far

    Add research made super efficient

Reverse-engineering why a competitor's ads work used to be a research project. The Meta Ad Library only goes so far, and everything past that meant stitching data together from scattered sources. Days of work, and you'd still end up interpreting fragments instead of patterns. SOCIALFUEL just gives it to you straight. Sort by winners, grab the hooks, angles, offers, audience and landing pages in minutes. I went Pro within a week of trying it. It's my primary competitor analysis tool now, and it's freed up time to spend on strategy instead of data collection. Still an early product, so there are some rough edges, but the core thing it does, it does really well, and they take feedback on board and respond fast.
