I find that reflecting on my experiences and going out of my way to really analyze the pitfalls and things done correctly helps a lot. Snip and tot are awesome... the first is free and uses githum gists to sync things, the second I love since it gives me a couple quick blocks to keep things on both mac and ios If you need more I was using CodeSpace to keep all my php, js, py scripts handy. Source: about 2 years ago
