Proxy Rotator is a rotating proxy service built for web scraping, market research, ad verification, SEO monitoring, price intelligence, and any workflow that needs to distribute requests across many IPs. The Rotating Proxy network has been in operation since 2017. The defining feature of the network is unified access. A single plan unlocks all four proxy types (residential, datacenter, mobile, IPv6) with no separate purchases, no per-type bandwidth pools, and equal access to the full IP inventory regardless of plan tier. The network includes over 100 million total unique IPs, with 6M+ datacenter IPs, 1M+ mobile IPs across 3G, 4G, and 5G carriers, and 16M+ IPv6 addresses. Pricing is thread-based rather than bandwidth-based. You pay for concurrent threads (simultaneous open connections through the gateway) instead of GB consumed, which makes costs predictable for high-request, low-payload workloads like SERP scraping, ad verification, and price monitoring. Plans range from small starter tiers up to enterprise volume, and a 10-thread free trial is available on request. Connection options include HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 protocols, basic auth and IP whitelist authentication, and a choice between rotating IPs (fresh IP per request) or sticky IPs (same IP for up to 30 minutes). The infrastructure runs 12 strategically placed gateway points connected via 100 Gbps ports for low-latency routing between gateways and exit nodes. Common use cases include web scraping at scale, SERP and SEO data collection, e-commerce price monitoring, ad verification, brand protection, social media management, market research, and stock or travel data aggregation.

Recently, I was working on a coding kata on codewars.com. Early on, I started thinking that a potential solution might utilize recursion, a concept that involves a function calling itself. However, I quickly realized that my grasp of recursion was not as solid as it needed to be for this task. In this post, I will share the insights gained from deepening my understanding of recursion while working through the kata. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
Get more involved. Look into internships and junior SWE positions to get a sample of what you'd be applying for once you graduate. Solve coding challenges, start working on a portfolio of your personal works. I recommend codewars.com for coding challenges, it's fun. Source: over 2 years ago
I'd recommend to play around with some basic coding challenges on leetcode.com or codewars.com. If the course prepared you well you won't find this useful, but playing around with them will make sure that you are comfortable with basics such as loops, if statements etc. Source: almost 3 years ago
I would advise for you to start with Python, it's a beginner-friendly programming language and it'll help with wrapping your mind around things. Play around with it, perhaps do some katas on CodeWars and you'll be set. Source: about 3 years ago
There is a website called codewars.com where you can select problems of varying difficulty for the language you need. It is very helpful for learning. Source: about 3 years ago
It requests to proxyrotator.com a random proxy and user agent then the response would be my proxy and user agent. The initial request is get_proxy method that returns a random proxy and user agent and then the second request is scrapy.Request that will pass my proxy and user agent as meta and headers. I'm new to scrapy and I'm still research and development to improve my code. In my project I'm using 3rd party proxy => proxyrotator.com. Whenever I run my script its very slow. Is there any configurations in my settings.py that would improve the performance of my script? Source: over 5 years ago
