Some companies use things like CoderPad or Google Docs (yes, Google really used to use Google Docs). Those don't let you run the code either so they're more like whiteboards. Source: about 1 year ago
I am a CS major with a computer engineering minor. I want to prepare myself to apply for an Embedded Engineering Internship. The interview process includes a coding task on coderpad.io, I have no clue what to expect - what kind of questions will be asked for an embedded internship? I say this because coding embedded systems is rather different from "regular" coding in practice. High level v low level. Source: about 1 year ago

The specific target interview format I have in mind is via a shared, live editor (e.g. https://coderpad.io/) and a video link, lasting ~1hr. Personally, I like codingame.com (completely free unless you are an employer) - Their simple puzzles are great places to get an idea of how programming works and the kinds of problems they solve. I think the first puzzle I was able to solve as a beginner in a few days. Source: about 1 year ago
I believe it's possible to use rust in codingame.com. Is that ok for you? Source: about 1 year ago
