The story behind Just Travel
started as an experiment in building practical AI agents capable of interacting with real-world systems through APIs and structured tool use. The original goal was technical: explore how conversational AI could reliably query services, retrieve live travel data, and return structured, consistent responses instead of generic chatbot output.
During development, a gap in the travel market became obvious. Most AI travel tools were essentially lightweight itinerary generators. They could suggest destinations or draft schedules, but they stopped short of integrating the parts travelers actually need to make decisions: real flight options, hotel availability, pricing, and trip organization.
That realization shaped the direction of Just Travel.
Instead of building another standalone itinerary planner, the platform evolved into a unified travel planning system that combines conversational AI, itinerary generation, flights, hotels, and trip management in one interface. The objective was to reduce the fragmented experience of planning travel across multiple tabs, tools, and booking sites.
