There are sites like insurify.com or nerdwallet.com - no experience using them though. For a discount, I suggest checking on things based on membership where there is a bit of a group discount, like your Credit Union, military service (USAA), Costco, Employer, etc. Consumer Reports rates Car Insurance companies, USAA was best but that doesn't mean cheapest as OP experienced.
