There are sites like insurify.com or nerdwallet.com - no experience using them though. For a discount, I suggest checking on things based on membership where there is a bit of a group discount, like your Credit Union, military service (USAA), Costco, Employer, etc. Consumer Reports rates Car Insurance companies, USAA was best but that doesn't mean cheapest as OP experienced. You could ask the folks at r/insurance.
