Learn Java with hands-on experience. I personally used codingbat.com a lot, but I've heard good things about codechef.com, which appears to even have a competitive option. Source: over 3 years ago
For practicing algorithms, use any of the freely available websites like https://hackerrank.com https://codechef.com https://projecteuler.net A structured set of practice problems are available at https://www.interviewbit.com/courses/programming/ Avoid https://geeksforgeeks.org because it has a ton of material but very poor quality control. These all have sample problems to solve Hackerrank.com edabit.com codewars.com codechef.com and there are tons more. Best of luck to you. I am at about the same level myself. I really like these sites. Source: over 4 years ago
What annoys me is that all of these are so expensive. When I wanted to learn and practice, I personally hate committing to these, but there are actually a few great coding bootcamps or platforms that are cheaper like codeonthecob.com and coursera. Source: almost 3 years ago

Hey everyone, I am the creator of codeonthecob.com. It is a website that I created where users can practice coding by completing simple exercises. I had to take a break from the site while I finished up school but now I am back and looking to build CodeOnTheCob into community for people that want to learn how to code. Source: about 3 years ago
Hey guys. I built codeonthecob.com. It is a website with coding challenges. It is similar to LeetCode but the challenges are a lot easier. Maybe you will find it helpful for practicing Python. Thanks everyone! Source: over 3 years ago
Codewars.com is an awesome site. codeonthecob.com is still in its very early stages so I think only time will tell if people lean towards one or the other or both. Source: over 3 years ago
