My recommendation is to sign up for codecademy.com and create an account to learn SQL over there. Also use sqlbolt.com because both of these websites provide detailed interactive SQL tutorials that should help you write it. Let's not forget that runtime revolution, now called Livecode (https://livecode.com/) still exists and is likely the functional, modern successor to HyperCard. Hypercard Stacks as far as I remember work out of the box too.
