Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Cloudinary and SnapToSize.

What's the story behind your product?

SnapToSize's answer:

SnapToSize was built by developers who spent 1-2 hours manually resizing artwork across all ratio groups using tools like Fotor. The tool automates exactly that step, nothing more.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

SnapToSize's answer:

Next.js, Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare KV, Cloudflare R2, Python (Pillow) for image processing, Clerk for authentication, Stripe for billing, Fly.io for the image processing runner.

What makes your product unique?

SnapToSize's answer:

SnapToSize is the only tool built specifically for the Etsy print file preparation workflow. Unlike general image editors, it understands Etsy's size groups and aspect ratio requirements — so sellers get ratio-correct files for every print size in one upload, not a generic resize.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

SnapToSize's answer:

Canva and Photoshop are design tools — they require manual export steps for each size. Generic resizers scale images without respecting aspect ratios, which produces cropped or distorted files. SnapToSize is purpose-built: one upload generates all required ratio groups as compliant ZIPs under Etsy's 20MB limit.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

SnapToSize's answer:

Digital print sellers on Etsy, Gumroad, and Shopify who sell wall art, posters, and printable artwork across multiple size listings.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

SnapToSize's answer:

Etsy digital print sellers
