Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Clean Core.app and Buffer.

What makes your product unique?

Clean Core.app's answer

Most marketing analytics tools are either too expensive and complex for small agencies, or too limited to actually replace manual reporting. Clean Core sits in the middle — purpose-built for agencies running paid campaigns across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and GA4 who need a single blended view without paying enterprise prices.

Three things stand out: first, a built-in Demo Mode that lets agencies show a fully populated live dashboard to prospective clients without exposing real account data. Second, per-client PIN protection — agency teams can manage up to 10 clients from one login and lock individual client dashboards behind a 4-digit PIN, controlling access without managing separate accounts. Third, a bring-your-own-AI-key model — users connect their own Claude, GPT-4, or Gemini API key to get AI-powered recommendations from their real data, with no markup or vendor lock-in.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Clean Core.app's answer

Supermetrics and AgencyAnalytics are powerful but complex and expensive — they're built for large teams with dedicated operations staff. Databox requires significant setup time and charges per data source. TapClicks starts at $499/month.

Clean Core is built for the 2–10 person performance marketing agency that runs the same four platforms for every client and wants blended ROAS, per-client reporting, and PDF exports without a 6-month onboarding process or an enterprise contract. Setup takes under 30 minutes. The Agency plan starts at $149/month for up to 10 clients — less than $15 per client per month.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Clean Core.app's answer

Small to mid-size digital marketing agencies — typically 2 to 20 people — running paid advertising campaigns for multiple clients across Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Google Analytics 4. The typical user is an account manager or agency owner who currently spends several hours per month pulling data from multiple platforms into spreadsheets or PowerPoint decks to build client reports. They need a faster way to monitor cross-platform performance, generate professional client reports, and catch campaign issues before they compound.

What's the story behind your product?

Clean Core.app's answer

Clean Core was built out of a direct frustration with the existing tools on the market. Every agency running paid media across multiple platforms faces the same problem — there's no single place to see blended performance across Meta, Google, TikTok, and GA4 without paying hundreds of dollars a month for tools that were designed for enterprise teams. The cheaper tools either only handle one platform, require hours of setup, or produce reports that look like raw data exports rather than something you'd actually send to a client.

Clean Core was designed from scratch with a single focus: give a small or mid-size agency everything they need to monitor cross-platform performance and produce professional client reports — and nothing they don't. It was built by Wonderworks Design Studio, an Indianapolis-based design and development studio, and launched in 2026.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Clean Core.app's answer

React and Vite (frontend), Supabase (authentication, database, real-time subscriptions, edge functions), Stripe (billing and subscriptions), and Vercel (hosting and deployment). AI recommendations are powered by Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT-4, or Google Gemini via user-supplied API keys. PDF report generation uses jsPDF. The codebase is JavaScript/TypeScript throughout.
