So yeah, it very much depends on your use case, you can always just demo it for one month and see for yourself. If you do, look into centminmod, it's a management tool for hosting websites simply and with great performance. Source: about 5 years ago
For the record, I find the teaching IDE BlueJ very easy to use and try things out in JavaFX. It is very light to use as it isn't designed as a normal IDE but you can simply write a JavaFX class and right-click to run as it. Source: over 5 years ago
