Capterra.com is my goto to research commercial software In this instance. After a CRAPTON of searching before opening my store, I will heartily recommend the one I went with-- retail edge- you can do it as a one time purchase, but I do pay for support.. and it does (I do not use it) integrate with shopify for pricing/inventory/tracking of sales.... Well lets just say, that creating an application that can be put into the market and would generate some revenue, not talking about millions here but just something that a small amount of clients would be after.
