Capterra.com is my goto to research commercial software In this instance. After a CRAPTON of searching before opening my store, I will heartily recommend the one I went with-- retail edge- you can do it as a one time purchase, but I do pay for support.. and it does (I do not use it) integrate with shopify for pricing/inventory/tracking of sales.... Don't do bootcamp. Start with something like https://freecodecamp.org and take a few lessons. Try to build something from that and see how motivated you are. If you see some progress and this thing still excites you, then may be find an engineer (a friend/co worker etc) who can guide you a bit as you continue to build something.
