Bun is a new JavaScript runtime built from scratch to serve the modern JavaScript ecosystem. It has three major design goals:
Speed. Bun starts fast and runs fast. It extends JavaScriptCore, the performance-minded JS engine built for Safari. As computing moves to the edge, this is critical.

The binary had a #!/usr/bin/env bun shebang and imported bun:sqlite. I had developed the whole thing under Bun, so on my machine it was perfect. On a normal machine with only Node installed, there is no bun to run the shebang, the entry was a .ts file Node would not execute, and even if it got that far, bun:sqlite is a built-in that only exists inside Bun. According to benchmarks published on bun.sh, Bun handles 59,026 Express.js "hello world" HTTP requests per second on Linux x64, compared to 25,335 for Deno and 19,039 for Node.js. For WebSocket throughput, Bun clocks 2,536,227 messages per second against Deno's 1,320,525 and Node's 435,099. Bun also bundles 10,000 React components in 269ms. My watch is a basic Garmin Forerunner 35 with my map functionality or turn/directions capability. If I'm running somewhere new (somewhere I need to drive to or in a different city) I'll occasionally use plotaroute.com to plot my route and either write the turns down on a small piece of paper I'll carry and glance at periodically or download the GPX file and upload it to use in the rungo app. That app gives audible... Short of using a physical tool to measure the route, your best option is to use an online tool like plotaroute.com to plot the route you took. Hopefully one of the apps is consistently more accurate than the other. Different apps on the same phone may indicate slightly (or significantly) different routes.
