As answered by people managing Buffer and Tippity.
Tippity's answer:
Most creator tools help you post more. Tippity helps you earn more.
It combines cross-platform analytics with a sponsorship rate calculator, so alongside "how did my week go?" it answers "what is a sponsored post from me actually worth?", with rates built from industry benchmarks by niche and platform.
It's analytics-only and read-only: it never asks for permission to post, edit or delete anything on your accounts.
Tippity's answer:
Choose Tippity if your goal is understanding your numbers and getting paid fairly, not scheduling posts. You get:
There's a free plan with every supported platform, and Pro costs a fraction of all-in-one social suites.
Tippity's answer:
Working creators with roughly 10K to 500K followers who treat content as a business: people who post across more than one platform, are starting to land brand deals, and want to know whether they're growing and what their work is worth.
Tippity's answer:
We kept hearing about talented creators undercharging for sponsorships, sometimes by half or more. Not because they didn't deserve more, but because nobody showed them what "more" looked like.
Rate cards shared in Discords were guesses on top of guesses, and platform analytics tabs tell you what happened, not whether you're doing well. Every tool we saw helped creators post more; almost none helped them get paid more.
So we built one that pulls your real numbers and does the math on what your work is worth.

I started with Buffer since everyone knows the name. It has been around forever as a scheduler, and now it has a newer GraphQL API that replaced the older, more limited one. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
We could have built full autopilot â generate, schedule, post, done. Tools like Buffer and Hootsuite give you scheduling. Some newer tools now offer auto-posting. We deliberately didn't go that route for the first version, and the... - Source: dev.to / 5 months ago
The concept is simple but technically ambitious. We are going to execute a strategy of "dogfooding" (eating our own food). Instead of using third-party tools like Buffer or Hootsuite, we will build a custom distribution engine using the... - Source: dev.to / 9 months ago
