AI answers now sit between your buyers and your product, and they quote Reddit constantly. ThreadCite is built for that shift. Point it at your keywords and it surfaces the exact Reddit threads that rank on Google and feed ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini, tracks your share of voice in them versus competitors, and scores every thread by buyer intent so you only spend time where being mentioned moves the needle. For threads worth joining, it drafts a native reply in your voice. You stay in control: there is no OAuth, no automation, and it never posts for you, so Reddit always sees a real person.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Buffer and ThreadCite.live.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

ThreadCite.live's answer:

I built it for B2B SaaS founders, solo founders, and marketers who know their buyers research on Reddit and ask AI before they buy, plus agencies running Reddit and GEO for clients. If you want to be the product AI recommends when a buyer asks for the best tool in your category, that is who I made this for.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

ThreadCite.live's answer:

  • Next.js and TypeScript on the frontend
  • A Go API backend with PostgreSQL
  • LLMs for keyword extraction and coached draft generation

What makes your product unique?

ThreadCite.live's answer:

ThreadCite was built to find the Reddit threads that rank on Google and get cited by AI engines for your keywords, score each by buyer intent, show your share of voice versus competitors, and draft a reply in your voice. It is visibility intelligence for Reddit and AI search, not an auto-poster.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

ThreadCite.live's answer:

Most Reddit tools either just monitor mentions or auto-reply for you. I built ThreadCite to do the part that actually compounds: get you cited by AI search through Reddit, without ever touching your account.

  • Zero ban risk. I never post for you. No OAuth, no automation. You reply in your own voice, so Reddit always sees a human.
  • Built for AI citation, not just listening. I track which Reddit threads ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini cite for your keywords.
  • Google rank tracking per thread, so you know which conversations actually earn traffic.
  • Buyer-intent scoring, so you only spend time where being mentioned moves the needle.
  • Share of voice versus competitors inside every ranking thread.
  • I read public Reddit through search, so there is no API access to lose. GummySearch lost exactly that.

What's the story behind your product?

ThreadCite.live's answer:

I kept noticing the same thing: ChatGPT and Google's AI answers quote Reddit constantly for buying questions, yet most Reddit marketing tools just auto-post and get accounts banned. So I built the opposite. ThreadCite finds the exact threads AI and Google pull from, tells me where it is worth showing up, and coaches a reply I post myself. The idea is simple: get recommended once, get cited for months. I am building it in public.

The best AI social media management tools in 2026
Buffer charges per channel, not per seat. The Free plan connects three channels with 10 scheduled posts each, and the Essentials plan runs $5 per channel per month on annual billing ($6 monthly). The catch is that per-channel pricing scales badly: a six-network business pays about $30 a month on Essentials for scheduling alone, before analytics. For a side-by-side cost view,...
