Hi HN, I'm Rohan Sirohi, the founder of InReelForge.
I built this because every SaaS I worked on that touched social media ended up rebuilding the same OAuth flows, upload pipelines, video transcoders, and webhook handlers โ and then re-debugging them every time Instagram or TikTok shipped a breaking change.
InReelForge is one REST API. You POST a video + metadata to one endpoint and it publishes to: Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook Reels, X, LinkedIn Video, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Reddit, and Google Business Profile.
Technical stuff: - REST API with API key auth (rotate-able, scoped per workspace) - Python + Node.js SDKs (MIT-licensed on GitHub) - FFmpeg-backed transcoding handles aspect ratios, format conversion, and per-platform size limits - Scheduler with a calendar UI; jobs survive restarts (DB-backed queue) - HMAC-signed webhooks for upload status (Advanced+ plans) - Analytics callbacks per platform + pull endpoint - Team workspaces with role-based keys (no more sharing personal tokens) - White-label for agencies (Advanced/Business tiers)
A few things I think you'll find interesting: - TikTok requires a 3-step chunked upload and they changed the chunk size requirement twice last year without updating the docs - Instagram Graph API requires you to create a "container" first, poll for it to be ready, THEN publish โ not idempotent, fun to debug - YouTube's quota system gives you 10,000 units/day, but a single video upload costs 1,600 units, so a "free" account is hard-capped at ~6 uploads/day - LinkedIn's video API is gated behind a partner program โ getting approved took us 3 months
