This is good - I previously used Buffalo https://gobuffalo.io/ at my startup, but eventually decided to move off it. Go doesn't seem like the kind of language that could support a framework like rails (it's safety takes away from the flexibility). Would love to see how this turns out though! There's nothing like Django for Go, I believe the closest would be Buffalo, typically when building backends in Go you pick and choose a combination of standard library packages and third party packages to build your services. Source: over 4 years ago

If you want to build a website with Go, first of you don't need nginx or caddy. Go's standard library web server is fantastic. One thing I find with Go is that because it's powerful enough to build a great web server, memory cache, or database, you can solve problems at a lower level. The PHP website is indeed one of the worst parts of the whole ecosystem. Just look at the landingpage (https://php.net) and compare it with those of other languages. There's not a single piece of PHP code on the page. No "what is PHP", no "why should I use it", and no "that's why PHP is great". My initial idea was to leverage the main applicationโs queue worker by deploying a queue worker remotely and setting up a secure connection between them using something like Wireguard. That's the first I've heard of it, and I like it! I can't tell you the number of trips to php.net to look at argument order for a function. Is it haystack/needle, or needle/haystack?
