I wanted to like Porkbun but failed to buy a .io domain through them because of technical problems on their end. Their website is also a bit programmer-y and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone non-technical. (Eg UX of login flow includes "Leave password blank if using a passkey or passwordless login.") I bought the domains on hover.com and I use Siteground as my hoster, so I changed the nameservers from hover to Siteground for both domains. What else do I need to setup and where exactly? Beware of "free" domain names or hosting with domain name. It's important that you and you only, control your domain name. If you get a "free" name with a hosting service, you may be tied to that service, no matter how lousy or expensive they become, because they control your domain name.
