The use of residential and mobile proxies can raise ethical questions regarding user consent and data privacy.

New accounts are subject to approval which can delay immediate access to the service.

BrowserAct features and specs

  • No-Code Browser Automation
BrowserAct allows users to automate browser tasks without writing code, making it accessible to non-technical users who want to streamline repetitive web-based workflows.
  • AI-Powered Task Execution
The tool leverages AI to understand natural language instructions and translate them into browser actions, enabling users to simply describe what they want done rather than programming specific steps.

By automating routine browser activities such as data entry, form filling, web scraping, and other repetitive online tasks, BrowserAct can save users significant amounts of time.

BrowserAct can be applied to a wide range of browser-based tasks including research, data collection, monitoring websites, and interacting with web applications, making it a flexible productivity tool.
  • User-Friendly Interface
The platform is designed with simplicity in mind, offering an intuitive interface that lowers the barrier to entry for browser automation compared to traditional scripting or RPA tools.

Possible disadvantages of BrowserAct

  • Reliability Concerns with AI Interpretation
Since the tool relies on AI to interpret natural language commands and interact with dynamic web pages, there can be instances where tasks are misunderstood or executed incorrectly, especially on complex websites.
  • Limited Control Over Complex Workflows
For advanced users, the no-code AI-driven approach may lack the fine-grained control and customization options that traditional coding or scripting-based automation tools provide.
  • Dependency on Website Structure
Browser automation tools are inherently fragile when websites change their layout, structure, or anti-bot measures, which can cause previously working automations to break unexpectedly.
  • Privacy and Security Considerations
Allowing an AI-powered tool to interact with your browser and potentially access sensitive web accounts raises concerns about data privacy, credential handling, and security of personal information.
  • Relatively New Product
As a newer tool on the market, BrowserAct may still be maturing in terms of features, stability, documentation, and community support compared to more established automation platforms.

    Mixed feelings

We used their DC proxies and Residential proxies. Resi proxies were having quite low success rate. We had to use resi solution from other proxy providers. Unblocker didn't work well either also it was way too expensive.

    ๐Ÿ Competitors: Decodo, NetNut.io
    ๐Ÿ‘ Pros:    Cheap dc proxies
๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons:    Quite expensive|Residential proxies are worse than competitiors
