BrandsForCreators is a barter platform that connects brands with verified content creators. Instead of paying agency fees or cash upfront, brands send a free product and get authentic content back, and they keep full rights to it. Creators with 15K to 1M followers get found by brands instead of cold-DMing them, receive free products to keep, and build a verified portfolio. It's free for brands and free to start for creators, and it comes with 78 free tools like engagement calculators, AI caption generators, and media kit templates.

BrandsForCreators's answer
BrandsForCreators uses a barter-based influencer marketing model, where brands send products to creators in exchange for content instead of paying upfront fees. This makes influencer marketing accessible to startups, small businesses, and e-commerce brands that may not have large marketing budgets. The platform also removes common industry barriers by offering zero platform fees, zero commissions, and direct communication between brands and creators.
BrandsForCreators's answer
Most influencer marketing platforms require brands to pay monthly subscription fees and additional commissions on collaborations. BrandsForCreators removes these costs entirely for brands. Companies can create campaign listings, receive applications from verified creators, and get authentic user-generated content without paying platform fees. The simple marketplace model and long campaign duration also make it easier for brands and creators to discover and manage collaborations.
BrandsForCreators's answer
The platform is primarily designed for e-commerce brands, startups, small businesses, and social media creators interested in product collaborations. It is especially useful for brands that want authentic influencer content without large advertising budgets and for creators who enjoy discovering new products while growing their portfolios.
BrandsForCreators's answer
BrandsForCreators was founded to address the high costs and complexity of traditional influencer marketing platforms. Many brands struggle with expensive agency fees and subscription-based tools, while smaller creators often have limited access to brand partnerships. The platform was created to simplify this process by introducing a marketplace where products are exchanged for content, making collaborations more accessible for both sides.
BrandsForCreators's answer
BrandsForCreators is built using modern web technologies designed for scalable online marketplaces, including cloud-based infrastructure, responsive web frameworks, and secure database systems that support real-time campaign listings, creator applications, and collaboration management.
BrandsForCreators's answer
As a growing platform, BrandsForCreators works with a variety of emerging brands and independent creators. Examples include: - E-commerce startups - Consumer product brands - Lifestyle and fashion brands - Beauty and skincare companies - Fitness and wellness brands - Food and beverage brands
I've use it instead of Firebase on a 15$ DigitalOcean droplet and saved around ~$150 a month. Managing my own infra does take some extra time, but definitely worth it. The APIs and SDK are also surprisingly much easier to consume than Firebase. Waiting for the cloud version.

Initially, I was using the Supabase free tier, but I was hitting the limits, and my app was becoming stale. Then I switched to Appwrite. Both are totally different; one is SQL, while the latter one is NoSQL. Although use node-appwrite package to skip the manual schema add-ons. - Source: dev.to / 6 months ago
