The last time I used Dreamweaver was in 2009 when I was putting together a site at a small business, my first job after college in a recession-hit market. These days I know HTML/CSS pretty well, but do still use a DW-style tool to build simple websites without an IDE: Bootstrap Studio[0]. With a customizable barebones Bootstrap grid system under the hood. It's pretty powerful, GUI-based flexbox positioning, custom... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
> I've just started working on a new portfolio site and was wondering if I could skip the Figma/whatever wireframe phase and just use a local WYSIWYG tool for a static page. Someone above suggested https://bootstrapstudio.io/ which seems to fit the static page use case very well. > it was usually ruined by a project manager or a developer trying to make something 'look designed' by mimicking some simple, elegant... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
If you use Bootstrap and are more towards "static" websites, I recommend Bootstrap Studio (https://bootstrapstudio.io/). I used it on and off. Last time, I used it to make one-off HTML, then edit the rest by hand (meaning, I can't return to the app again to make changes). But recently, I used it to develop https://momenial.com/ with 100% editing in the app. Meaning I can use the app to make changes. I _do_ still... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
Bootstrap Studio - Price: $29-59 ("one-time" purchase, only for $59 option, the other has 1 year free updates after that you're out) A powerful desktop app for creating responsive websites using the Bootstrap framework. Source: about 2 years ago
I adopted this mentality a few years ago and it's served me very well. Pro tip to anyone looking to do the same without losing the benefits of SquareSpace's WYSIWYG editor: try out Bootstrap Studio [0], which gives you a visual editor but also full control over the CSS and the ability to create reusable components. The licensing is also user-friendly (doesn't require a subscription). [0]: http://bootstrapstudio.io. - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
You will need to log in/sign up on the Anima app website and to use the figma plugin. - Source: dev.to / 7 months ago
There will be more solutions in the future, currently animaapp.com does figma/adobeXD to React code, also uizard.io does image to design (figma like but I think they do not support Figma). However I supose OP did not have Figma files for the work done. Source: over 2 years ago
There are many not recently launched. animaapp.com and https://www.copycat.dev/product does figma to react code there are some others but idk how good in the figma plugin marketplace. These are just based on figma API. Source: over 2 years ago
Is it would be similar. Only onusegenerated.com I provide the react hooks hooks(data fetching) and you need to use another solution like animaapp.com or something to get the react components as well, and manually connect the hooks to the React presentational components. On the backend however with a NestJs and Prisma app I might get a more robust solution I guess. Source: about 3 years ago
