I adopted this mentality a few years ago and it's served me very well. Pro tip to anyone looking to do the same without losing the benefits of SquareSpace's WYSIWYG editor: try out Bootstrap Studio [0], which gives you a visual editor but also full control over the CSS and the ability to create reusable components. The licensing is also user-friendly (doesn't require a subscription). [0]: http://bootstrapstudio.io. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
You can use the WYSIWYG for the frontend. Like https://bootstrapstudio.io/ or https://docs.atrilabs.com/. Source: about 1 year ago
Would this assist you? https://bootstrapstudio.io. Source: about 1 year ago
Fair fair. Most of the services have export functions to take your code offline, not sure if Softr does. But anycase, if you don't want to use a no-code web-based builder, then you can try something like Bootstrap Studio to build with Bootstrap CSS. It's drag and drop too, but needs a little more work (i.e. Gotta read the bootstrap docs to understand how to compartmentalize components. But it's still easy once you... Source: about 1 year ago
The closest thing I can think of off-the-cuff would be something like Bootstrap Studio, though that's somewhat "tightly coupled" to using Bootstrap for your UI... Source: over 1 year ago
If you're not primarily a coder, give Bootstrap Studio a look - https://bootstrapstudio.io/. Source: over 1 year ago
Https://pinegrow.com/ fits the description. So does https://bootstrapstudio.io/ though perhaps to a lesser degree. Source: over 1 year ago
Interesting. But why use Figma at all? Note, that's not a knock on this idea / product. It's more about why use Figma? In the past, I've used BootstrapStudio (https://bootstrapstudio.io/), which to me makes sense especially when there are still - in 2022!??!? - people using Photoshop to do "web design". The end product is something in the browser, so why isn't design + code done in the browser? Why generate a PNG... - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago

Personally, I use Bootstrap studio from time to time, it's a nice tool with a one-time purchase. Source: almost 2 years ago
If you understand frontend development (I get that you may not enjoy it) you could use Bootstrap and get one of the Bootstrap drag & drop builders. Check this one out. Source: almost 2 years ago
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing this. I've been trying to figure out how to set up ecommerce on Google Sites. I'd not seen the Reflow Toolkit before -- https://reflowhq.com/ -- from there I found your BootStrap Studio -- https://bootstrapstudio.io/ -- These look like amazingly easy tools to work with. Thank you so much!! Source: almost 2 years ago
I just have my own website setup for my portfolio. I made it in Bootstrap Studio and they host it for free. I just have to pay for the domain name. Source: almost 2 years ago
Https://bootstrapstudio.io/ (seems to be fine but I'm not sure if it communicates to github properly). Source: about 2 years ago
I used Bootstrap Studio for mine. You need to be at least very slightly familiar with how websites work to make that work, but its a really easy way to put together a custom site on the cheap. They even host it for free (the software is a one time $29 though). I think its a great deal. Source: about 2 years ago
I have not yet found one, but Tailwind desperately needs its own Bootstrap Studio! I posted on the Tailwind GitHub almost a YEAR ago asking the same question, and never received a single response. I suspect it is because one doesn't exist yet, which is why I am here now. Source: over 2 years ago
The only visual editor that I could Image is Bootstrap Studio. But you are limited to bootstrap and I don't think it's easier/better then the Browser devtools. Source: over 2 years ago
Bootstrap Studio 5.8 was released earlier this month, and with it came our brand new set of Ecommerce components which you can use to build fully featured online stores. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
I am one of Bootstrap Studio's (https://bootstrapstudio.io) developers. We spent the last few months adding Ecommerce components with automatic backend to the app, so you can now visually design fully functional online stores. The BEST option I have found by FAR is Bootstrap Studio. It is super EASY to use, very intuitive, and is crazy CHEAP. I have used it for my last 4 projects and I love it. Source: over 2 years ago
