Stepper is an AI-native workflow automation platform by the Paperform team.
Stepper takes you from idea to automation in one conversation.
Stepper AI will build your workflows while you watch, and be there to help you understand, tweak and improve them in the future. But donโt worry, youโre still in charge - you can always see exactly how your automations are set up and edit them yourself.
What makes Stepper different?
Publish your common use-cases in to Component Libraries - like your own personal set of Lego blocks that can be dropped in across your workflows.
Stepper workflows are built to represent your actual processes, with support for multiple triggers in the same workflow, you can build related automations together in one place.
Finally, Stepper isn't pinching pennies on steps. Stepper has a generous free plan for you to get started, and Stepper Pro comes with unlimited runs (within fair use) for $19 USD/month.
Whether you're automating marketing flows, sales flows, or your internal business flows, Stepper is there to help.
Boltcms
StepperBoltCMS is recommended for small to medium-sized businesses, startups, and individuals who want a simple yet effective solution for managing their website without the complexity of larger CMS platforms. It is particularly suitable for developers who prefer a lightweight, extendable CMS that offers robust customization options.
Stepper's answer:
AI Native: Stepper is the first AI native workflow automation platform - built from the ground up so that AI can build your automations for you while you watch. Stepper AI is also there to help you understand and improve workflows over time.
Cost effective at scale: Stepper comes with a generous free tier, and on Stepper Pro you get unlimited steps within fair use for $19/month. No other hosted workflow automation platform does this, and the total cost for customers is much cheaper than every other platform.
Components: Stepper helps you keep your workflows organised by allowing you to extract out common use cases into components that can be re-used across all of your workflows.
Multiple Triggers: Workflows can have more than one trigger in Stepper, allowing you to build workflows that represent your actual business process in one place.
Stepper's answer:
Stepper is a fantastic choice for people that want to spend less time manually setting up automations, and more time doing the things that only they can do.
As the most cost effective platform on the market, Stepper makes it a no brainer to automate more - you don't have to decide whether it's going to be too expensive to run.
Stepper's answer:
Stepper is designed primarily for small to medium businesses and solopreneurs. Workflow automation is particularly well suited to businesses in digital marketing, business process optimisation, and web development.
Stepper's answer:
Stepper is built by the team at Paperform - a popular online form builder.
Over their 9 years of operation Paperform have seen the frustration, expense and complexity of creating and maintaining automations using existing platforms like Zapier, Make and n8n. Some customers would give up automating their processes out of frustration, or not even try for fear of how expensive an automation would be.
Stepper is the response to these frustrations - an automation platform that uses AI to make the hard parts of automation easier, and pricing designed to put SMBs at ease.

Since I use Hugo I have no interest in a CMS myself (I only develop for myself and not for third parties). But before Hugo I had used https://boltcms.io. Source: almost 4 years ago

PHP Headless Or you go with a Headless PHP CMS. Some options for that are Bolt CMS, Suru, Twill and ExpressionEngine. A Headless CMS doesn't have any frontend. It can provide you with a REST API or you create it in their template engine and integrate your JS stuff there. There are so many, I can't count them all. You can also search for Cockpit and Strapi. I'm Dean, and I bootstrapped the online form builder Paperform from nothing to 4M ARR with my wife Diony without a drop of external funding. Our team is now working on something even more ambitious - we've just launched Stepper (https://stepper.io) - our take on an automation platform, built for AI. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
