bitwardenI moved from 1Password to Bitwarden about half a year ago. I never looked back, and I've never missed anything. The UI might be a touch clunkier than 1Password, but it's still good and perfectly usable on the whole. What is more, it is open-source and people can inspect its code.
Based on our record, bitwarden seems to be a lot more popular than CloudNativePG. While we know about 613 links to bitwarden, we've tracked only 22 mentions of CloudNativePG. The public keys and ~/.ssh/config are committed as plain files, the private halves are rendered from Bitwarden at apply time and never touch git. I deployed CNPG (https://cloudnative-pg.io/ ) on my basement k3s cluster, and was very impressed with how easy I could host a PG instance for a service outside the cluster, as well as good practices to host DB clusters inside the cluster. If this setup seems complex, that's because it is. Especially if you consider that you might have multiple replicas which might also need to get scheduled on new nodes etc. In many ways, it resembles the Tower of Hanoi puzzle—careful sequencing is key.
