One last source of confusion worth clearing up. Git is the version control system itself, the underlying technology that does the change-tracking. GitHub is one popular place to host projects that use Git, and it is not the only one. GitLab and Bitbucket do much the same job. A beginner does not need to evaluate all three. While browsing the web, I came across a feature of GitKraken called Launchpad. This feature enables us to get a big-picture view of all issues and PRs where we are the creator or a follower. If you donโt know GitKraken, it is a Git client with an awesome UI for managing your repositories. You can use it as a desktop app, website, editor extension (GitLens), or the CLI. Rundown of the situation: The keyholder of the github repo of Polymc has gone rogue, sabotaging the project's github repo and discord server by removing everyone else's permissions after stating his strong, negative opinions towards gay and trans people, causing a lot of understandable backlash, with the majority of the team moving onto a new project, PrismLauncher Because of the fact that this dev has gone...
