Honestly, I donโt think itโs worth implementing Elasticsearch until you have hundreds of thousands of records or you need something search engine specific (i.e. facets). The full-text search in Postgres is really fast these days. Or if you want a library, Iโve been using https://pypi.org/project/django-watson/ on https://devmarks.io and itโs been working great so far. Source: about 4 years ago
