I do like what I see and hear about backtrader.com. I would say they are a notable exception to my general rule of not trusting or using backtesting frameworks. However, I still think it is important to understand how the framework you are using works. I tend to use MockServer. With MockServer you can define inputs, so you can say that the request should look like this with that URL, etc etc. That way you can verify that the request looks okay. Source: over 4 years ago
