Auditzo is an AI-powered compliance audit platform that helps lawyers, law firms, and compliance teams generate courtroom-ready evidence reports for GDPR, CCPA, CIPA, DPDP, and WCAG.

Unlike simple cookie consent scanners, Auditzo goes deeper by simulating a real user session in a headless browser. It captures every network request, tracker fingerprint, and execution sequence. Our reports include timestamped screenshots, HAR logs, payload details, and consent timing analysis, all formatted into plain-English, legal-grade PDFs that can be used to support litigation, regulatory responses, or internal compliance reviews.

Auditzo was built with one goal: to remove the guesswork from compliance. Whether you are a lawyer building a privacy case, a corporate compliance officer checking risk, or an agency ensuring clients stay legal before launch, Auditzo delivers clarity and proof in minutes.

With Auditzo, you can:

  • Run free audits in under 5 minutes - no signup, no jargon.

  • Detect trackers firing before consent (critical for CIPA/GDPR).

  • Document routing evidence for regulators and courts.

  • Export file-level exhibits to share directly with legal teams.

Our vision is to make compliance simple, transparent, and evidence-backed so organizations can focus on growth without risking violations.

Git features and specs

  • Distributed Version Control
Git is a distributed version control system, meaning every user has a complete local copy of the repository. This offers better redundancy and allows users to work offline.
  • Branching and Merging
Git makes branching and merging processes simple and efficient, allowing users to try out new features, fix bugs, or experiment without affecting the main codebase.
  • Speed
Git operates very quickly because most of its operations are performed locally, making it very swift in comparison to some other version control systems.
  • Flexibility
It is highly flexible, supporting various workflows including centralized, feature-branch, Gitflow, and forking workflows.
  • Open Source
Being an open-source tool, it's free to use, and its source code can be reviewed and modified by anyone as needed.
  • Widely Supported
Git is widely supported by many integrated development environments (IDEs) and collaborative platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Security
Git uses a mechanism of checksums to ensure data integrity, making it very resilient against changes, corruption, and unauthorized alterations.

Possible disadvantages of Git

  • Complexity for Beginners
New users may find Git's command-line interface and concepts like branching, merging, and rebasing to be complex and difficult to learn.
  • Overhead of Local Repositories
Since every user maintains a full copy of the repository, this could lead to higher local storage requirements compared to some other version control systems.
  • Learning Curve
The initial setup and understanding of Git workflows can be challenging, and it requires users to spend some time learning the tool.
  • Potential for Misuse
Powerful features like force push and interactive rebase can lead to significant issues if misused, including loss of history and data.
  • Merge Conflicts
While merging is generally easy, complicated projects with many contributors might experience frequent and difficult-to-resolve merge conflicts.
  • Tool Fragmentation
There are multiple tools and additional software built around Git (GUI clients, integrations, etc.), which can be overwhelming and fragmented for some users.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing Auditzo and Git.

Who are some of the biggest customers of your product?

Auditzo's answer

For confidentiality reasons, we can’t reveal names; most of our work involves legal cases. But here’s who we serve:

  • A California-based law firm that used Auditzo reports in a CIPA trap-and-trace violation case.

  • An EU privacy consultancy leveraging Auditzo to validate GDPR cookie compliance for clients.

  • Multiple agencies and startups that use Auditzo free scans pre-launch.

What makes your product unique?

Auditzo's answer

Auditzo is the only AI-powered audit tool that goes beyond cookie banners and surface scans. Instead of just telling you a site 'might' be non-compliant, Auditzo captures real evidence, HAR logs, tracker payloads, and timestamped screenshots. That means you don’t just get a score, you get proof you can actually use in court or compliance reviews.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

Auditzo's answer

Competitors like Cookiebot, OneTrust, and TrustArc do a good job at managing consent. But they don’t help when you need to prove a violation. That's where Auditzo wins.

  • We detect pre-consent trackers firing in real sessions.

  • We map consent vs execution timelines.

  • We deliver PDF reports with file-level exhibits.

If you’re a lawyer, compliance officer, or regulator, Auditzo gives you the smoking gun evidence you'll never get from a banner management tool.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

Auditzo's answer

Our primary audience is law firms, privacy lawyers, and corporate compliance teams who need solid evidence to back up GDPR, CCPA, and CIPA cases.

Secondary audiences include:

  • Agencies and developers → use Auditzo free scans to check compliance before launch.

  • SMBs and startups → run quick checks to stay compliant and avoid fines.

But make no mistake: Auditzo was built lawyer-first.

What's the story behind your product?

Auditzo's answer

Auditzo was born out of frustration. While building products for clients, our team noticed that most "GDPR/CIPA scanners" gave generic scores or compliance checklists, but no real proof.

Lawyers we worked with kept asking: "This is good, but can I take it to court?" The answer was always no.

So we built Auditzo: an audit engine that simulates real browsing, captures evidence at the file level, and produces reports that stand up in litigation. Our mission is simple: turn compliance from guesswork into courtroom-ready evidence.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

Auditzo's answer

  • Backend: FastAPI + Python (async processing, secure pipelines)

  • Database: MySQL with Tortoise ORM

  • Frontend: Next.js (React)

  • Evidence Capture: Playwright, mitmproxy, Wireshark, Fiddler

  • Cloud Infrastructure: AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, SQS workers)

Every piece is optimized for scalability and legal-grade accuracy.

  • GitHub, Demystified
One last source of confusion worth clearing up. Git is the version control system itself, the underlying technology that does the change-tracking. GitHub is one popular place to host projects that use Git, and it is not the only one. GitLab and Bitbucket do much the same job. A beginner does not need to evaluate all three.
