  • How do I find a Sponsor?
That's actually a great question. Our show is in the top 0.5% of podcasts, and we've been recently asking ourselves the same question. Something we should have looked into a while back, but depending on your podcast distributor, it may be baked in option. Who do you distribute your show through? Some distributors, like Audioboom, have the option for the automatic insertion of dynamic ads. And I may be wrong, but I... Source: almost 4 years ago
  • Tool for bulk downloading Audioboom
Recently found this tool which you can use to bulk download content, by channel, from audioboom.com. It seems pretty recently made so thought was worth sharing in case it hadn't been seen. Source: almost 5 years ago
  • Trying to listen to the entire catalog
The site I have found with the earliest working cast is audioboom.com. Their earliest episode is #32 titled "Busy Week" from 4/15/2014. This gets you twelve more episodes in front of #44 "Stinging Genitals" from 7/8/2014. The clinker with audioboom is it doesn't have an app so the mobile experience isn't great. I plan to listen to 32-43 on Audioboom and then switch over to Google Podcasts (thanks ftwin). Source: over 5 years ago

  • Exapunks
Reminds me of one of my favorite games: Hacknet (https://hacknet-os.com - https://store.steampowered.com/app/365450/Hacknet/). Likely contributed in a meaningful way to me becoming a programmer. I think I have Zachtronic's SHENZHEN I/O on my wishlistโ€”will have to check out his whole catalog. - Source: Hacker News / 4 days ago
  • Why I'm teaching kids to hack computers
Where would this sit between Over the Wire [0] and Hacknet [1]? I would try it but I don't own anything apple. [0] https://overthewire.org/wargames/bandit/ [1] https://hacknet-os.com/. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
  • How would a video game based on being a sysadmin look like?
We have programming based games like Human Resource Machine and Hacknet. Source: over 3 years ago
  • Over and over and over.... what's your current song obsession? And do you like the whole song or is it mostly just snippets of the song (I'm team snippets, but I'm usually too lazy, and just listen to the whole song and get excited for the spot I like)
For me, it's Home - Dreamland. It's something where I can just close my eyes and lose myself in it. It's so uplifting and if there was an hour-long version of this I'd listen to it all the time while I draw. I found this while playing Hacknet, which that itself is a pretty fun hacker sim game.
