aText Slick WriteaText is recommended for individuals who frequently type repetitive text, such as professional writers, developers, customer support representatives, and anyone looking to enhance typing productivity and efficiency.
I've been using aText for quite some time, and it's been amazing. If you are typing a lot, I'm sure you would be able to optimize your work tremendously. You can have abbreviations for your closing email phrases, URLs, and whatever can come to your mind.
Also, I'd suggest to think of a trigger character and use it at the beginning of all abbreviations. That way you will avoid collisions. I'm using a comma. For example, these are some of my abbreviations:
You get the idea. Once you get used to the app, it will save you a lot of time and typing.
Slick Write might be a bit more popular than aText. We know about 2 links to it since March 2021 and only 2 links to aText. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

Not quite the answer you're looking for, but I use aText, so I can make my own date format, and my own shortcut, and it can be universal โ and I can make all kinds of shortcuts for all kinds of other things, like symbols, emojis, and phrases. This way, I never have to worry about apps that don't have a YYYY-MM-DD option. :). Source: about 3 years ago
It's just down. Gone with no trace. I've been using this site for some 6 or 7 years to edit my papers with. Today I checked it to use it, and it's just no longer there. According to https://www.saashub.com/slick-write-status, it's been down for around 5 days now, and a thorough Google search hasn't turned up anything useful, like an official Twitter or email or something like that. For improvement, though, I'd definitely recommend just doing a deep dive into your work and analyzing the individual structure of each sentence (order of subject vs. object, independent/dependent clauses, comma usage, etc.), then trying to apply purposeful variation. One tool I like to use is slickwrite.com, which gives an overview of sentence types throughout a piece and helps immensely when working on this kind... Source: about 5 years ago
