I have the Star Adventurer Tripod and can't fault it, especially for the price. Yes you'll want an intervalometer to do exposures of more than 30 seconds on a Canon or you could hook it up to a laptop and use something like APT. Https://astrophotography.app/. Source: over 2 years ago
