I've use it instead of Firebase on a 15$ DigitalOcean droplet and saved around ~$150 a month. Managing my own infra does take some extra time, but definitely worth it. The APIs and SDK are also surprisingly much easier to consume than Firebase. Waiting for the cloud version.
Its a great app, they get most of the chords correct or very close, I'd say 90% at best. But the AD's are non stop and there is no paid subscription to eliminate them. Customer service is a joke, they are in India. Will not respond to questions. You cannot print out chords with lyrics so whats the use. There is no back button and it does not remember your searches. Overall, good for beginners and kids. Could be really a great app if they had a paid subcription with no ads and more features. Also, mostly heavy metal, not geared to jam bands at all. its

Initially, I was using the Supabase free tier, but I was hitting the limits, and my app was becoming stale. Then I switched to Appwrite. Do you ever improvise or play from lead sheets? I feel like it's a different feeling from reading sheet music and many people find it more enjoyable.
