BirdNETRegistration process is really hectic though once registered everything is smooth as expected. Huge collection of products but the shipping fees are high and taxes. Amazon should definitely change their UX its getting dull now. Customer support is on point but the sellers should be accounted for as i have been getting wrong products and seller starts ghosting, amazon helped me a lot anyways. I hope these will be heard
I will like it and I also recommend others to follow this platform. But there is no direct relationship with customers, high operating costs and no control over the refund policy
Amazon has best shopping experience with us. Everything in this platform is very nice. It provides best shopping experience in India, has provides biggest selections of products, books, software reach and shows best movies, latest podcasts music and everything is nice for us. I like Amazon and also refer others to follow that platform. But there is no direct customer relationship, has high operations cost and there is no control over return policies.

For over a decade, there's been a tiny ASCII duck hiding in plain sight. Open the page source for amazon.com, scroll all the way to the bottom, and there it is, surfing the web and quietly meowing at anyone who looks. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago

Can't log into https://amazon.com either after logging out; so many downstream issues. - Source: Hacker News / 9 months ago
Don't give them an opportunity to give you a "phone number" either. Ask them to identify their company and the branch that they are with - then go to the official website of the company (i.e. https://amazon.com, etc.) and look up the phone number there. A little less convenient for a LOT more security. - Source: Hacker News / 10 months ago
Visit Amazon and go through the top-selling children's books in your niche. Note their titles, cover styles, keywords, pricing, and even read the reviews. You will learn a lot about what people are buying, what parents want to buy, and why they like specific books. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
There's Merlin and then there's Birdnet too https://birdnet.cornell.edu/. Both by Cornell. - Source: Hacker News / 3 months ago
According to the study methods [1], data was taken from BirdWeather, which is crowdsourced from users running local BirdNET [2], including BirdNET-Pi and BirdNET-Go [3], which runs easily on most Raspberry Pi (including slowly on Zero 2 W). BirdNET has popped up a few times on HN [4]. [1] https://www.science.org/doi/10.1126/science.adv9472 [2] https://birdnet.cornell.edu/ [3]... - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago

Based on the title, I was hoping for an explanation. Instead the article is a collection of "maybe it's this?" points. It's still great that Cornell Lab provide resources like this. Another project of theirs, BirdNET [0], is fantastic for identifying bird song. [0] https://birdnet.cornell.edu/. - Source: Hacker News / over 1 year ago
Maybe something like a solar powered game camera only for ant-sized game. Folks seem to go for the Haikubox[0] for bird sound recognition using BirdNet[1]. I'd love to see the little spiders or maybe silkworms that lay tiny lines in the grass of my neighborhood that shimmer in the low morning light and dew. 0. https://haikubox.com/ 1. https://birdnet.cornell.edu/. - Source: Hacker News / almost 2 years ago
