Time2Pack's answer:
Time2Pack is a great choice because it combines packing, trip planning, and flight tracking all in one app. Unlike many other travel apps, it doesnโt require sign-ups or bombard you with ads. It works offline, so you can access all your trip details without needing an internet connection. Plus, the app automatically creates packing lists based on your destination, weather, and activities, which makes organizing way easier. If you value privacy and simplicity, Time2Pack is the way to go.
Time2Pack's answer:
Time2Pack stands out because itโs a complete travel organizer that goes beyond just packing. It not only helps you create smart packing lists based on your destination and trip details, but it also keeps your travel information like documents, photos, and notes all in one place. Time2Pack's answer:
Time2Pack was created by Kate and Alex after they had a frustrating experience during a trip where they forgot essential items and ended up spending a lot of money to replace them. To avoid making the same mistake again, they decided to build an app to help people stay organized while traveling. They launched Time2Pack in 2023, focusing on helping users create smart packing lists and manage all their travel details in one place. Since then, it has grown with updates and new features based on user feedback.
Time2Pack's answer:
The primary audience for Time2Pack includes frequent travelers, families, and anyone who wants to stay organized while on the go. Itโs perfect for people who need help keeping track of packing lists, flight details, and important trip info, especially when traveling internationally or on long vacations. Whether itโs a solo traveler or a family heading on a trip, Time2Pack offers a simple, no-fuss way to manage everything. It's ideal for those who want to be prepared without the stress of complicated apps or sign-ups.
You could say a lot of things about AWS, but among the cloud platforms (and I've used quite a few) AWS takes the cake. It is logically structured, you can get through its documentation relatively easily, you have a great variety of tools and services to choose from [from AWS itself and from third-party developers in their marketplace]. There is a learning curve, there is quite a lot of it, but it is still way easier than some other platforms. I've used and abused AWS and EC2 specifically and for me it is the best.

> but it's still a singleton instance, so where do you run it? Most hardware doesn't give you enough uptime for what you need here, because what you actually needed was a re-architecture for distribution / failover / whatever, and while you could ask your LLM to do that you aren't going to run your bank on the result. If only we had a way to solve these issues with tools capable of running Rust programs in that... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 month ago
Not because infrastructure isn't important. It is. Not because Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a bad platform. It isn't. - Source: dev.to / 2 months ago
The AWS S3 documentation covers all of these in detail. The configuration takes about an hour to get right the first time and rarely needs changes after. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
The first pattern is direct-to-storage. The client uploads chunks directly to an object storage service like Amazon S3 using pre-signed URLs. The application server creates the upload session and grants permission but never sees the file bytes. This pattern scales well because the application servers do not handle the upload bandwidth. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
