AllZonefiles.io started from a simple problem: obtaining comprehensive domain data is surprisingly difficult.

Domain information is distributed across ICANN CZDS, individual registries, ccTLD operators, public datasets, and other sources, each with different formats and access requirements.

AllZonefiles.io was created to aggregate, normalize, store, and continuously update this data so developers and analysts can focus on using domain data instead of building infrastructure to collect it.

The project has since grown into a large domain data platform covering hundreds of millions of domains and more than 1,500 TLD zones.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

AllZonefiles.io is built primarily with Go, PostgreSQL, Linux, Docker, Nginx, and cloud/object-storage infrastructure.
