Possible disadvantages

  • Smaller Community and Ecosystem
Compared to major hosting providers like DigitalOcean, AWS, or even shared hosts like SiteGround, Opalstack has a smaller user base, which means fewer community tutorials, third-party guides, and forum discussions available for troubleshooting.
  • Limited Scalability Options
Opalstack is primarily a shared hosting provider, which means it may not be the best choice for high-traffic applications or projects that require rapid, on-demand scaling of resources like CPU, RAM, or storage.
  • Not Ideal for Beginners
While developer-friendly, Opalstack's approach can be intimidating for non-technical users. Setting up applications often requires familiarity with the command line and server configuration, which may not suit those looking for simple one-click solutions.
  • Limited Data Center Locations
Opalstack offers a relatively small number of data center locations compared to major cloud providers, which may result in higher latency for users targeting audiences in regions not well-served by the available server locations.
  • Fewer Managed Services and Add-ons
Unlike larger hosting platforms, Opalstack lacks a wide range of managed add-on services such as built-in CDN integration, managed backups with granular restore options, or one-click SSL management that more mainstream providers offer out of the box.

Questions & Answers

As answered by people managing AIVisibility.pro and Opalstack.

What makes your product unique?

AIVisibility.pro's answer

Most tools tell you where you rank. This one shows the searches the assistants ran while answering questions in your category, and turns them into article ideas you can publish. You also see the answers your brand is missing from and which brands take your place. The report ends with work to do, not a grade.

Why should a person choose your product over its competitors?

AIVisibility.pro's answer

It is free and there is nothing to configure. You get all four major assistants in one report instead of testing each one by hand, and the result names the specific gaps and the sources worth targeting. You can run any competitor the same way and compare.

Which are the primary technologies used for building your product?

AIVisibility.pro's answer

TypeScript throughout. The marketing site is static, built with Eleventy. The app runs on Cloudflare Workers with Hono, uses D1 for storage through Kysely, and Better Auth for Google sign-in. One domain, no subdomains, deployed with Wrangler.

How would you describe the primary audience of your product?

AIVisibility.pro's answer

Marketing and SEO teams, agencies reporting to clients, and founders of SaaS, ecommerce and local businesses. Anyone whose customers ask an assistant for a recommendation before they buy.

What's the story behind your product?

AIVisibility.pro's answer

It started with a question I could not answer for my own projects: does ChatGPT actually mention us? The only way to find out was opening four chat windows and typing prompts by hand, which is neither repeatable nor something you can hand to a client. So I built the repeatable version and then kept adding the parts I wanted to see myself.
