Every price on the site is read directly from the vendor's pricing page and stamped with the date it was verified. I was pricing out a stack for a side project and kept hitting the same problem: every directory quoted the headline monthly price and stopped there. None of them mentioned that one platform takes a percentage of every sale if you bring your own Stripe account, or that another's "0% fees" only applies if you use their payment rails.
When I checked the prices myself, a lot of them were simply out of date - vendors had raised prices and the directories hadn't noticed.
The fix seemed obvious: read every price from the source, write down the date you read it, and publish the fees along with the sticker price. That's the whole idea. The site is built on a database rather than hand-maintained pages, so the verified data feeds the comparisons rather than being retyped into each one.

Most directories are funded by the vendors they list. That's not a criticism of their integrity โ it's a structural constraint. A site earning money from listing fees or sponsored placement cannot publish "this tool's page builder is unreliable" about a paying customer, and it has no incentive to re-verify a price that's drifted upward.
AIMarkDeck takes no listing fees and no sponsored placements. Ranking is never influenced by payment. Where we earn affiliate commission, it's disclosed on the page.
The practical result is comparisons that include the parts that cost you money: transaction fees, conditional pricing, what a plan actually caps at, and the cases where the cheaper option is the wrong choice. If a more expensive tool is right for your situation, the page says so.

Solo founders, indie builders, course creators and small teams - people choosing their own tools with their own money, without a procurement process or a software budget to absorb a bad decision.
For this audience the difference between two platforms is often several hundred dollars a year once transaction fees are counted, and that's real money. They tend to be self-taught, comfortable with technical detail, and sceptical of "top 10" listicles - they want the actual numbers and the tradeoffs, not marketing copy restated.
The strongest segments so far are course creators and coaches choosing between learning platforms, and solo operators assembling a marketing stack from scratch.
Based on our record, Capterra seems to be more popular. It has been mentiond 5 times since March 2021. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.

Capterra.com is my goto to research commercial software In this instance. After a CRAPTON of searching before opening my store, I will heartily recommend the one I went with-- retail edge- you can do it as a one time purchase, but I do pay for support.. and it does (I do not use it) integrate with shopify for pricing/inventory/tracking of sales....
